The Bolsheviks have entered hitherto neutral Boklicra, and thereby secured direct railway communication between Transcaspic and European Russia wa Taskcnt and Samara;, which will facilitate the concentration of troops in Turkestan, prosecuting far-reaching designs. The Bolsheviks are striving to bribe Bokhara and Afghanistan to accept their paper currency by largo territorial concessions. The Bokharans do not appear to have assented, while the friction between the Bolsheviks and Afghans is increasing. The Bolshevik designs, after the shortly expected fall of Krasnovodsk evidently include control of the Caspian, the occupation of Baku, the penetration ot Persia from South of the Caspian and a rear attack on the volunteer army. They also will doubtless aim at the direct ’ penetration of Persia via Khorussan, and ulteriorly India in conjunction with Afghanistan and others affected by the Pan Islaunc movement. Swarms of agents arc receiving intensive training as propagandists therefore, and some have already been sent to Persia and the Caucasus with large supplies of forged English money-.
