AUSTRALIAN PRODUCERS
BIG FEDERATION PROPOSED. (United Press Association.) Received January 8, 9.25 p.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 8. An important inler-State conference of producers is considering the establishment of a wholesale co-operative federation, representing the whole of Australia. It is intended that the federation shall act on behalf of affiliated societies in the wholesale distribution of Australian products in foreign markets. Mr ITooton, manager of the New Zealand Farmers’ Wholesale Federation, attended the conference with the object of describing the movement in New Zealand.
