Moses Barity, a lecturer under the auspices of the Marxian Society, who arrived a few weeks ago from Sydney, and first lectured on "Grand Opera” and then on social subjects, including “Bolshevism.” is understood to be the first person to whom the provisions of the Undesirable Immigrants Exclusion Act, passed last session, has been applied. He has been requested by the authorities to leave for Sydney by the Moeraki. There is power to arrest him, but that power has not been exercised oir certain conditions.
