The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken at 9 a.m. daily, and weather indications, ar* kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner: Thermometer. Max. Min. Tuesday 71 57 Wednesday 71 56 Barometer. Wednesday 30.30 Thursday 30.10 Yesterday was fair, with light northwesterly winds and lower temperature. The barometer is falling. The indications are for fair but overcast weather to-day with light northerly winds followed by more unsettled conditions after 48 hours. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds, with southerly tendency. 'Tho weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain following. Barometer unsteady.
