Mr Raven, of Auckland, is at present staying at the Grand Central,* Hamilton. Mr Henri Verbrugghen, conductor of the New South Wales State Orchestra, is at the Hamilton during his stay at Hamilton. Dr. W. A. Chapplp, formerly M.P. for Tuapeka (N.Z.), and later M.P. for Stirlingshire in the Imperial Parliament, is visiting Hamilton, and is staying at (he Grand Central, Mr P. W. G. McLeod, bandmaster of the New Plymouth Band, and one of the most prominent figures in band circles in Australasia, is a visit-.' to Hamilton to-day. Mr McLeod was on his way to Eotorua, and broke " iet journey here to hear the New South Wales Orchestra.
