VICKERS.VIMV PREPARATIONS. ARRANGEMENTS BY BRITISH "ACE." (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received January 7, 9.30 a.m. VANCOUVER, January 6. It is understood that Major D. A. Y. Arnold, R.F.C., a British "Ace, who is en route for Australia, has cancelled his journey, and is to enter the Vickers Company service, and make arrangements for a Trans-Pacific flight from Australia to San Francisco. _ A special Vickers-Vimy machine is being built at W;cybridgc for the flight, which is dependent on the permission of the War Office.
