RACE NIGHT BOUTS. TWO MATCHES FOR HAMILTON. The- Hamilton Boxing Association has sealed its arrangements for two professional contests to he decided in Hamilton on race night. February 7. The principal attraction will he the meet ok of J. Globby, the American, and one of the cleverest men in the world ih his division, and J Tracey, the Australian, who recently defeated Pooley. Although it took Tracey 13 'oancs to dispose of Pooley it has to hr T-omembered that it was the Australian’s first contest for a considerable time and those who know him best claim that he is susceptible of very marked .improvement. The preliminary to the star attraction will -be the meeting of two of the leading featherweights in. Lin Robinson, of Gisborne and Billy Oliver, of Auckland. Robinson, who holds the, title which \yill he involved, defeated Venn in Hamilton on the occasion of the Association’s initial tournament and subsequently knocked Olliver out in the final of a 15-round contest at Whangarei. Olliver, later on, met Venn at Taumarunul and defeated him on points. A purse of £4OO is being offered by the Association for the Clabby-Tracey match, and a £SO purse for the Robin-son-Olliver contest.
