AMERICAN ACTIVITY. LOANS FOR CENTRAL POWERS. (United Service.) Received January G. 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 5. American financiers arc not awaiting the ratification of the Peace Treaty, but are busy in Germany arranging for credits preparatory to a great trade push. COPENHAGEN, Jan. 4. A New York banker, interviewed in Berlin, said that Australia and Germany would share largely m the proposed big loans for Europe, for vvhich America's official sanction was not needed. It was a case of business men lending for business purposes, money to be usable for the purchase of foods and raw mate-rial.
