ALLEGED FORGERY OF CHEQUE. A Maori named Whanawhaaa Taha-* tika was committed for trial at Morrinsville yesterday, on a charge of forging a cheque for £lO in the name of O. P. Mortensen, farmer, of Kiwitahi, and uttering it to a shop assistant named. Lawrence, at Jenkins' store.
