ALLENBY'S OMISSION
GENERAL RYRJE'S VIEWS,
THE REGRETTABLE INCIDENT. NEW ZEALANDERS BLAMED. (United Press Association.) Received December 16, 11.25 am SYDNEY, Dec. 16.' General Ryrie has returned from Egypt. Referring to General Allenby's pointed omission of reference to the Australians recently, he said that their behaviour was excellent. A regrettable incident occurred at Gurafeud, in Palestine, which was perhaps responsible for General Allenby's nonreference to the Australians, but the act he held the Australians responsible for should never have been attributed, to them, as it was the work of the New Zealanders.
