The King gave a banquet to the Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace, and congratulated him on forging a new link between Canada and the Mother Country.

His Majesty expressed great, appreciation of the cordial, even affectionate welcome the Prince had received from the Government and people at Washington, and New York.
