The Japanese Labour Party are, protesting against the high cost of living, and have started a movement to secure a reorganisation of the Cabinet. The Prime Minister, Mr. Hara, called an official conference at which it was decided that a public market should be established in each city of 50,000 inhabitants, and loans should be advanced at a low interest to those who wish to build homes. It also suggested that the tariffs on imported food should be removed.
