MOTOR CYCLE CLUB

m RELIABILITY TRIAL. The Hamilton Motor Cycle Club held a week-end reliability trial on Saturday last when 20 members turned out. Controls were established at Whatawhata, , each side of the Deviation, Te TJku and at Raglan. Competitors were sent out from Hamilton at five-minute intervals, various average speeds were given them, { and they were penalised one mark for each hall minute early or late on arrival at the control stations- At Raglan ah machines were locked up until the time for return on Sunday afternoon, and the return journey was checked at the same points aB on going out. On Sunday morning a very enjoyable launch trip was arranged and alter a good run home without any mishaps, all members voted the outing a real .success, and it was decided to hold a number of these runs during the season. Much credit is due to Miss Earle, who drove her own side-car outfit all the way and proved that one of the fair sex can handle a motor cycle successfully. . The thanks of the Ciub is due to Mr S.
