That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf bv the "Counties Act, 1908," the "Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913," and bv Sections 119 and 120 of the "Public Works Act, 1908." and amendments thereto, and by notice of a warrant dated the 9th day of April. 1918, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, under tlfe provisions of tho said Section 119 of the "Public Works Act, 1908," and with the consent of the Governor-General-in-Council under Section 20 of the "Appropriation Act, 1915,'' and of every o+her power (if any), it thereunto enabling, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows : ' That for the purpose of providing the amount necessary to enable the Waikato County Council to construct a bridge over the Waikato River at Horotiu with approaches, and to pay two-thirds of the cost of such bridge and approaches, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves to raise a special loan of Five thousand pounds over the whole of the Waikato County, and that such loan shall he for a period of thirty-six and a-iialf years on the instalment svstem under the provisions of Part 111. of the "Local BoQies' Loans Act. 1913," the rate of interest being four and a-half per centum per annum. ~ T ,.
