DELAYS IN ADJUSTMENT.

(Bv Telegraph —Special to Times.) * WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Replying to a question by Mr E. Newman (Ra ngitikei) regarding the surplus profits on wool sold for otlmr than military purposes, the 1 rime Minister said that latest devices from the Imperial Government indicated that the amount of New Zealand s share would not he ascertained for some lime vet The enormous turnover and complexity of the accounts, including tlie operations of scouring, topmakmg and carbonising would probably render an early settlement in the ma ter impossible. The wool of the IJI6-i < clip was still in New Zealand in December, 1918, and a portion of that clip was only submitted to auction m the April sales of this year. Immediately definite information regarding the amount available for dlslnbu ion was received, wool-growers would be advised.
