The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken at 9 a.m. daily, and weather indications, arc kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner:— Thormomotor. Max. Min. Friday §7 51 Saturday ...; 59 47 Barometer. Saturday • 29.60 Monday 29.80 During the past 48 hours the weather, has been unsettled. Saturday was partly fair, with occasional showers. During Sunday a very heavy thunder storm, accompanied by hail, occurred about noon, followed by occasional light showers and heavy fog during the ni<rht The barometer is now rising. Tlie indications are for probably-fair and partly overcast weather to-day, with winds backing to a southerly direction, lower temperature, and probably fog in the early morning. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications arc for moderate to strong westerly winds, backing by west to south. ‘ The weather will probably be cold and changeable, with scattered showers. Barometer rising.
