On Friday next at. Corbett road, Roll Rloek. (lie dispersal sale of the late William James’ pedigree Friesians will be conducted by Mr Newton King. An outstanding feature, of this sale is Hie abundance of the blood of the late champion bull Kins' Fayne Segis 2nd. The late Mr James was a great admirer of him. and when he was secured by Messrs Clifford Bros, he went to the trouble to get his services for some of his best cows, and lie has therefore left a few young slock which must surely be eagerly enquired for at 'the sale. King Fayne Segis 2nd himself Is a g randson of Grand Fayne 2nd Homestead, with a record of 35.35111 butter in seven days, and the dam with a record of 231 b butter-fat. The late Mr James always considered that King '•’ayne Segis 2nd was the best bull he ever saw in his life. Amongst the cows 'o be sold are Segis Galatea (purchased by Mr James at Mr Newton King’s sale "or 193gns), Fayne Segis Belle 3rd (lOOgnsl, and Nazli Fayne Segis (105 gns). and needless to say that with quality such as this represented it is anticipated that there will he a big attendance at the Corbett Road Farm an Friday next.
