APPOINTMENTS OF TEACHERS. The following appointments wore authorised by the Auckland Education Board yesterday:— Mr W. Hannken, assistant master, Tc Aroha, Junior Teachers.—Miss L. M. Rohan, Waikino; Miss A. Glaridge, Te Kuiti U.H.; Mr T. R. Birdsall, Te Kuiti D.H.; Mr A. ti. Maxwell, Hamilton East; Miss L. Price, Te Awamutu. Temporary Appointments.—Miss E. A. Price, assistant, Goodwood; Miss H. V. Shiress, assistant, Oncwbero. Temporary Relieving Teachers.— Mr C. G. Gaunttett, Honikiwi; Miss J. G. Turner, Prankton; M, T. H. Hewlett, Gordonton; Miss D. G. Green, Onewhero; Miss J. L. I. Webb, Eureka; Miss H. Ogden, TaumarunuiMiss G. McGregor, flora Hora; The board decided to consult committees regarding the following appointments:—Hautapu, female assistant, Miss H. Russell; Hamilton West, infant mistress. Miss H. B. Lanyon. It was resolved to invite applications by advertisement for the following appointments:—Female assistants: Coromandel, Eureka, Point Chevalier, Taumarunui, Prankton, Hora Hora, Devonport, Buckland, Hamilton East, Northcote, Bayfield (2), Eclendale, Taotaoroa, Maungawhau, Wairanga. Secondary Assistant: Taumarunui D.H. Leave of absence on account of illness was granted to the following teachers:—Mr G. M. Garter, Nelson street (three months); Mr F. C. Day, Pukekohe D.H.S. (one month); Miss G. M. Casley, Albany (four weeks); Miss P. A. Somerville, Otahuhu (three months).
