GOLF
CAMBRIDGE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Cambridge Golf Club was held on Friday, when Mr D. R. Caldwell presided. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. The following new members wore elected: —Mr and Mrs Gollan New—ton. Mr Grummatt, Mr G. McClennan, and Miss Gwen Lewis. The following officers were appointed:—President, Mr D. R. Caldwell (re-elected); vice-president, Mr E. A. Lee; captain, Mr A. H. Nicoll; ladles’ captain, Miss M. Wells; green superintendent, Mr ,T. C. Towers; secretary and treasurer, Mr A. H. Nicoll; committee, Messrs G. Calvert, M. Wells, E. J. Wilkinson, Boston, Cooper, and W. Vickers; auditor, Mr W. Vickers; handicappers, Messrs M. Wells, A. 11. Nicoll, and G. Calvert; ladies’ committee, Mesdamcs Nicoll, Graham, Taylor, Cox, Martin, and Miss K. Halley. It was agreed that the opening day be left to the green superintendent to fix when the links are suitable.
