“TRIBUTE OF FRANCE” APPEAL

GIFT MUCH APPRECIATED.

In connection with the “Tribute to France” appeal some months ago, £14,450 was sent to the High Commissioner for transmission to the French Government. Letters of gratitude have now I>ecn received from M. Gambon, tiie French Ambassador, and M. Piehon, Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressing deep thanks for the magnificent gift, which will do much to alleviate cases of misfortune and distress.
