The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken at 9 a.rn. daily, and weather indications, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner:— Thermometer. Max. Min Thursday Ih.’.A)- 04 49 Friday .....T.V;..i 70 54 Barometer. r Friday 130.4(1 Saturday 30.40' Yesterday continued fair throughout, with variable winds "and higher , 'temperature. -1" The barometfer is:phenomenally high. Indications are for fair weather to-day and to-morrow, with lower temperature and winds from a northerly direction; probably overcast to-morrow. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications are for moderate to strong south-easterly winds, freshening. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled at times. Weather conditions arc threatening northwards. The night will probably be very cold. Barometer falling.
