The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken at 9 a.in. daily, and vvealner indications, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner;— Thermometer. Max. Min. Wednesday 79 49 Thursday 64 48 Barometer. Thursday 30.30 Friday 30.40 Yesterday continued fair, pith light northerly winds, with heavy; fog in the early morning and lower temperature. Barometer high, with rising tendency. Indications are for fair and cloudy weather to-day, probably followed soon by unsettled conditions. Winds were variable, mostly from a northerly direction. The Weather Bureau wires: The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, hut moderate easterly' prevailing. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy, weather. Night probably verycold. Barometer little moi.vempnt.
