The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken at 9 a.m. daily, and weather indications, are kindly supplied by Mr James Hremner:— Thermometer. Max. Min. Wednesday (iO "it Thursday (52 ~>l Barometer. Thursday J?0.0 Friday L'iM'l) Yesterday was fair, with partly overcast sky and north-west to southwest winds. The barometer is falling. The indications are l'or overcast weather, followed soon liy tnore unsettled conditions, with heavy rain: winds veering from west to north-east. The Weather Mureau wires: Tlie indications are for westerly winds, strong to gale, and soon hacking by west to strong. The weather will probably prov# very boisterous: rain probable, and the weather will probably becomcolder, but barometer rising shortly.
