The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken at 9 a.m. daily, and weather indications, are kindly supplied by ,Mr James Bremner:— Thermometer. Max. Min. Tuesday (>(> 50 Wednesday 60 54 Barometer. Wednesday 29.60 Thursday 30.0 Yesterday was unsettled, with heavy rain showers and high westerly winds. The. barometer has risen rapidly during the past 12 hours. Indications are for partly cloudy weather to-dav, and probably to-morrow, with variable winds and cold nights.
