Mr George Elliot, of the National Kfficiencj Beard, is in Hamilton today. He conferred with the members of the local Board on various matters affecting the interests of soldiers. Mr A. W. Oxley, of Dunedin, exsuperintendent of the Postal Department lor Nelson Province, is at nresent or. a visit to Hamilton. Private advice has been received that Gunner Hamilton Millen, brother 0 f James Millen, Feneourt, has returned to France, having recovered from his wounds. This is his fourth time in France: while another brother, H. F. Millen has returned to France for the seventh time, and as Sergt. Millen went over soon after the war started with the first reinforcements to the main bodv he can almost claim to he "one of the rontemptiblos"; he belongs to the Ulster division.
