SERBIANS OCCUPY NISH. AFTER SEVERE FIGHTING. FRANCO-SERBIAN PROGRESS. (Australian, N.Z. and Rcutcr.) Received October 15, 1.40 a.m. LONDON, October 14. A French Eistern communique states that the Serbians, on Saturday morning, occupied Nish, which the enemy was ordered to defend at all costs. The Serbians have gained a footing on the hills north of the town. Severe fighting preceded the capture of Nish. in which the Serbians captured six guns. The French cavalry farther cast have entered Belanalanka. The Serbians on the Nish-Pirot road, west of the Morava, liave readied Enrokoplie, Mirosina. and Miranior. and the French in Upper Serbia have occupied Prin, Prizrend and Mitrovitza. GREK AND SERBIAN PREMIERS. ATTEND CONFEREXCE IN LONDON. Received October I~>. 1.0 p.m. LONDON. October 14. M. Venezelos, the Greek, and M. Pnshtch. the Serbian Premiers, have arrived in London, to participate in an important conference en Balkan affairs.
