Mr 11. MoCallum, member for Wai. rau, who has been spending a few days on his Woodlands property, will return to Wellington to-night. In our report of the proceedings of the Hamilton Borough Council in Saturday's issue, (Jr. Lafi'erty's name was inadvertently omitted from those present. Hon. Sir James Allen, Mlnisicr "or Defence, reached Frankton last night, and this morning motored to the > Waikato Sanatorium in connection with returned soldiers. He will motor lo Tirau, joining the express there for Rolorua. Owing to the large number of passengers, it was found necessary to put on a second express from Auckland last night, running about half an hour behind the ordinary express. Among the passengers were lions. \V. F. Massey, Sir J. (i. Ward, Sir .lane's Allen, W. I). S. MacUonald, A. M. Myers, and Dr. Poinare.
