Received October 12, 10.5 a in LONDON, Oct. 11, 4.30 a.m. An American communique states that on Ihe right bank of the Meuse the French fighting with the Ist American Army continued to advance, and valiantly withstood counter-attacks. The heights eastward of Sivry have, been cleared of the enemy. On the loft of the Mouse we stormed Gobe Dame Mario after severe fighting. Further westward the enemy has been driven from the Argonne forest, and we have reached the line Sommcrance-Marcq-Cheverieres, and are opposite Grandpre. We took 1000 prisoners, including two complete battalion staffs.
