CAMBRAI-ST QUENTIN FRONT LE CATEAU CAPTURED BRITISH ADVANCE AVERAGES 10 MILES. (Reuter's Telegrams.) Received October 12, 1.15 a.m. VANCOUVER. October 11 The British advance averages ten miles. Le Cateau has been captured. The line runs from St Souplet to Solesmcs. The French, east of St. Quentin advanced four miles and captured Servais. THE BRITISH SUCCESS. 80 GERMAN DIVISIONS DEFEATED (Australian and N.Z. Gable Assn.) Received October 12, 1.35 a.m. LONDON. October 10. Since August s the British have defeated 80 German divisions, and the German infantry divisions have now been reduced to 183, with the addition of eight Austrian.
