NEW ZEALANDERS IN HOSPITAL
RECOVERING AFTER SEVERE TIME. Received October 11, ".,'SO p.m. LONDON, October 10. Sir Thomas Mackenzie visited the New Zealand soldiers in hospital. They have had a severe lime, but are on the high way to recovery. A number are already on leave. The men of the 41st and 'i2nd Reinforcements are in splendid health and there, was [no sickness on the voyage. Addressing them, Sir Thomas said he regarded the Germans as beaten, owing to Mr Lloyd George's policy of joint control, supplemented by the transport of American man-power.
