COUNTER-ATTACKS REPULSED. (Australian and N.Z. and Reuter.) Received October 11, 9.5 a.m. LONDON, October I*o. A French communique states that north of th e Arnes we repulsed violent counter-attacks, and approached nearer Oaurov. o#t attacks in the Aisne valley produced satisfactoiT results. We captured the plateau and village of Montcheutin, Grand Ham and Lancon. and crossed the Aisne north-west of Montcheutin. We captured Senuc, on the north bank, after a stiff fight, taking GOO prisoners, with guns and machine-guns.
