The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken at 9 a.m daily, and weather indications, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner:— Thermometer. Max. Min. Wednesday (id r>."> Thursday 75 55 Barometer. Thursday .'10.15 _ Friday .'(0.30 \ esterdav continued line, with strong south-east winds. Hie barometer is high, with a rising tend. -no;*. The im-if-ations aiv for fair weather to-day and to-morrow, with cooler nights, ami winds veering to a northerly direction; probably overcast to-morrow. ■The Weather Bureau wires: The indications are for moderate to strong breezes prevailing. The weather will probably prove squally and changeable, with passing showers. The night will pro,ably he very cold. The barometer lifts a rising tendency.
