Commission are Goldstein's two contradictory declarations, ivliich have been i)iililished. The first accuses the police of accepting hribes in money and .suits of clothes from Goldstein in con. nection with, a forged note case in which Goldstein was arrested and discharged. He alleges that the police placed a fire done in the pocket of ono of the I.YV.W . accused. The second statement withdraws all the charges wid admits that the allegations arc untrue, and that they were made because of the persecution and ostracism which 'Tie suffered through acting a-s a Crown wititss.
