AMERICAN LABOUR MISSION
TO UNITE ALLIED LABOUR. (Australian and NZ. Cable Assn.) Received August 30, 5 p.m. WASHINGTON, August 29. Mr Samuel Gompers, president of the American Federation of Labour, has arrived in London with other American labourites. They will attend the British Trade Union Congress and an allied labour conference in either London or Paris about September is. The purpose of Mr Gomper's visit is to more closely unite the workers of allied countries to win the war.
