SUDDEN DEATH. Bv Telegraph—Press* Association. HAWERA, Saturday. Mrj J. Rauch, a resident of Hawera for ove r 30 years, died this morning. Deceased attended a party last night, when she was taken with a sudden seizure. It is understood that death was due to heart trouble. ANOTHER MINE. FOUND ON NORTHERN COAST. WELLINGTON, Saturday. The Naval Advis'r states that it :s reported that an enemy mine has been wash?d ashore on tie west coast of the North Island, about 15 miles south-east of Cape Maria Van i>ieraen. The necessary steps have be«n taken. ALLEGES LIBEL. JURY FAIL TO AGREE NAPIER, Saturday. The jury were uiable to n.gree in the libel action Vigor Brown v. Mulvanah and Venables, and .he defendants rere granted leave to apdy for a nonsnit.
