N.Z. DAIRY ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS. The annual meeting of the New. Zealand Hairy Association took place in the King's Theatre, Hamilton, yesterday, the managing director (Mr H E. Pacey) presiding over a large attendance of shareholders. The report and balance sheet wph> adopted an amendment by Messrs Hawkins and Vercoe that, the directors be urged to resume "dry" shares at 75 per cent, of their face value or pay interest on such shares being defeated by 60 votes to 15.
The honorarium of the directors was increased to £75 per annum. The staff were warmly praised for the manner in which they had carried on during the illness of Mr Pacey. A full report of the proceedings will appear in Monday's issue.
