TWO FATAL ACCIDENTS

Inspector Shechan has been notified of two fatal accidents vesterday. James Forbes, farmer, aged 19 was crossing the Marakopa river with a horse and dray when the horse got into difficulties Forbes tried to help the horse which kicked him and stunned him, and he was drowned. His mother who was on the opposite hank saw the accident. At Awairaka, near Kihikfhi, a Maori hoy, Te Ra.hu Heta, 12 vears of age was killed by his horse falling on him. Inquests will be. held in both cases.
