A meeting was called in Wnlton when Air A. K. K - built in every small centre., so the next best thing was to erect them where the." would sprre the greatest number. .Mr Adlam said that the idea at Waharoa vas a central factory, with receiving depots at suitable points, the farmer to suply his milk to the depot. It was proposed to have a receiving depot at Walton if the offered supply warranted it. Mr Southee raised the question of who was to pay for the transit of milk, the suppliers or the company, but the mattor was left in abeyance, it being regarded a s a minor issue. SURPRISE PARTY.
On Wednesday evening a surprise part} called on Mrs Harney in order to have a social evening with* her and Mr Ted Harney before they leave the district, th>y having sold their farm. There was a good numlier present, and a very enjoyable evening was spent in dancing and games. .Miss Mira Ross and .Mrs Penncll assisting with musical Opportunity was taken -v the ladies" to make a presentation to Mrs Harney as a token of esteem in which she was held Mr Lewi-, Mnpp spoke of the good dualities of Mrs Harney and Mr Ted Harney. .Mrs Ross made the presentation, and said that. on behalf of the ladies, she was pleased to shov some little recognition of thv good feeling which existed between Mrs Harney and them, and asked her to accept a momento of her friends in Walton. The company joined in "For They Are Jolly Good' Fellows."
