MR HUGHES' POLICY ENDORSED. (United Press Association.) Received' Julv 19, 7.30 p.m HRISRANE, July 19. The annual conference of the Associated Chamhcrs of Manufacturers of Australia has resolved to support Mr Hughes' advocacy of the retention of the German colonies in the Pacific. Otlur resolutions favoured preference of .Miiployinent to returned soldiers, the compulsory marking ol all goods con. taining not less than 'A'A per cent of Australian material and labour made in Australia, and pushing cii'orts to educate the people in the duty oi supportinsi Australian industry.
