AUSTRALIANS ADVANCE EASTWARD OF VILLERS BRETONNEUX. FIELD-GUNS, MACHINE-GUNS, AND PRISONERS CAPTURED. (High Commissioner's Cable.) LONDON, July 18, 11.40 a.m. Sir Douglas Haig reports that in the neighbourhood of Villers Bretonneux the Australians last night advanced their line to the eastward of the village. Four field-guns, machine-guns, and prisoners were captured.
