By Telegraph—Press Association* HASTINGS, Friday. The weather was tine and the attendance verv good for the opening day of the Hawke's Bay Cup meeting. The course was in good order. Results:— Hack.—Golden Glade 1, Coalition 2, Otara 3. Scratched: Nicemar, Lord'Ainslie and Toki. Won by four lengths. Time, 2.48. -Mangatarata Hurdles.—Pursefiller 1, Bon Reeve 2< Record 3. Won by a length. Time, 3.15. .Nursery Handicap—Cyresian 1, Karo 2, Cherry Mart 3. Scratched: Killowen, Malama, and Brown Aster. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time, 1.2.
