BOWLING
HAMILTON CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT. The fourth annual Christmas Tournament will be held on December 26th and following days. Entries close on Saturday, December 22nd, with the secretary, Mr E. H. Hodgkinson. The Frankton Bowling Club's official opening is taking place to-day. . The Frankton green is in first-class order again this season, and the members very keen and enthusiastic. The sealed handicap singles competition, which is taking place on the Hamilton Club's green, is causing a great deal of interest, and some very close games have resulted. All games are to be finished by December 15th. The Te Awamutu Club's Tournament will be held on December 13th. Several teams from the local clubs intend taking part. The Te Awamutu green is without doubt the best in the district, and the hospitality of the people is proverbial.
