BRUTALISED GERMANY
DEFEAT MUST BE COMPLETE.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received Sept. 6, 7.30 p.m.
NEW YORK,i Sept. G
Ex-President Roosevelt, in'the course of a speech to-day, said that there must be no peace except through the complete defeat of the brutalised Prussianised Germany of the Hohenzollerns. Germany's methods of warfare were hideous beyond belief, cruelly and unspeakably brutal. Newspapers published in the German language in the United States were scandalously disloyal, and should be suppressed.
