At yesterday's function in connection with the opening of the Farmers' Union premises in Hamilton several speakers made eulogistic reference to tli* good work done by Mr King, secretary, who had assisted in the designing, and was carrying out the affairs of the Sub-Pro-vincial District so successfully; Mr J. A. Snoll, who designed and superintended the erection of the building; and M essrs Barton and Ross, who were responsible for the handsome furnishings. It was stated that all these gentlemen had carried out their work in a manner that left nothing to be desired.
