THREE SWEDISH STEAMERS SUNK.

Tlic Swedish steamers Vesterland, Viking, and Aspen, grain laden from England to Sweden, were torpedoed in the North Sea. Two of th«>i Vesterland's and eight of the Viking's crews were drowned. SUBMARINE IN PACIFIC. SIGHTED OFF CALIFORNTAN COAST. Received Mav 21, 9.50 a.m.* SAN FRANCISCO, May 20. The Navy Department reports that a submarine has been sighted off Sr.n Diego, the principal port of Southern California.
