The Frankton Municipal Band (Bandmaster Donov in) gave another of their most enjoyable recitals at the hospital yesterday. Despite the inclement weather there was a large attendance. The playing was well up to the high standard reached by this band, the rendition of classic gems being a particulate fine one. Many favourable comments were passed on the intonation and the attack of the band in this fine number.

TheWhangape sheep dog trials will be held on Friday next, 25th May, on Mp A. S. Baker's property, Naike.
