NO NEW TAXES. HEAVY IXCKEASKS PROPOSED. EXCESS PROFITS TAXED 80 PER CENT. Received Mav 3, 8.45 a.m. LONDON, May 2. Mr Bonar Law, Chancellor of the Exchequer, has delivered his Budget. No new taxes are proposed, hut only increases. Tobacco will be increased to 22d per lb, and excess profits increased to 80 per cent. Entertainments will yield another £1,500,000.
