I ROTOTUNA. Sunday School Anniversary. j The soiree in connection with the ;jth | anniversary of the Sunday School was held on Friday last when tlie building was wcyl tilled. A short address on "Counterfeits" was delivered by Mr H. Koston. The superintendent, Mr A. H. Clement, submitted a report of the year's work, and r ead the balancesheet, which showed o credit of £1 ss. The sum of £'4 has been donated to mission work; the library has been increased by tlie addition of of) books, and the incidental expenses met as we'l as each child receiving a reward book. The number of names on the roll has decreased from 62 to 07. The prizes were presented bv the T?er. C. Roberts, the winners being:—Senior class, first prizes "*it-h equal number of marks. Annie Thomas, Nellie Missen and Edna Fred. Thrimas first. Oeoree second; girls, Nellie Thomas first, Mnv Thompson second; infants. Lily Thomas and Leslie Missen equal for first, Laura Thomas second. Land Sale. Mr H. Swain has disposed of his farm as a going concern to Mr Malcolm, of Leamington. The departure of this family frm the district is much to be regretted. Mrs Swain will be greatlv missed from chnrch and Sunday school.
