DAIRY ASSOCIATION MEETING.

The attendance at the lGth annual meet iig d Hie New Zealand Dairy Association, at Hamilton, to-day, was large, and the suppliers present were obvmuK.y gratified with the Asociation's operations during the past season. Mr H. E. Pace.v, general manager, presided. The following directors wore also present;— Messrs T. ('. Slacken, W. E.Clark,.). T. Young, (. Motion, It. MeKenzio, 11. J. Maisey, and A. H. Barriball. Exhibited in the hall were the trophies won by the company's produce during the past season, l'liese included the \\cddol Cup lor the best aggregate grade ot butter throughout the year, the Silkeliorg Cup, for the host aggregate points tor expoii nutter; two championship certificates; two hist, two second, tour third, and tour iotirtb award cards. The adoption of the report and balance-sheet was moved by Mr Pacey, whose remarks appear on Page 2. In seconding the adoption, Mr VV. C. Motion said that notwithstanding the very dry season there had been a very large increase ot the company's business. It was gratifying to shareholders to know this, and also that the company's producing staff Had so interested themselves in their work that the large number oi trophies exhibited in the hall that day had been secured a>, a result oi their consistent efforts to turn out only a butter of the highest quality. Association Congratulated. Mr Saulbrey (Ngaruawahia), in supporting tin' motion, congratulated the Association upon the excellent year, and the directors upon the compilation of such an excellent and comprehensive report lor the edification oi the shareholders. Mr Barnball refuted the published statements of .Mr Henry, his opponent for the Lower Waikato seat on the directorate, and criticised what he described as (lie latter gentleman's unfair tactics. He made the point clear that be (Mr Harribal) was a shareholder in the Association.

The motion for the adoption of tin report and balance-sheet was carriec without dissent.

A unanimous vote of thanks to the (ieneral Manager, directors and staff was cairied with enthusiasm.
