MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting was held on Saturday. Present: Messrs G. Booth (ahcirman), 0. Watt, J. Hooker and W. Harbutt. Works. Mr T. l\. He stated he hoped to have the road in good order before the summer.—Mr Sinales was complimented upon his report, and the business-like manner in which he was doing the work. Victoria Road. Mr Harbutt referred to a letter Mr \V. J. Andrews had sent to the Press re i\\v state of the Victoria road and tin 1 gravel pit the Board had purchased from him. From the discussion it was gathered thai the Board was satisfied with the pit. The Victoria road <s had, but with the advent of fine weather it will soon l>e put in order. No. 1 Sta;i<n Road. The Supervisor of Roads reported tli at Mr Clarkin, the contractor for reforming this road, had removed his plant and had not finished his contract.—lt wa« decided to ca'l upon him to complete the work forthwith. Bruntwood-Matangi Road.

Mr Tyler asked permission to alter a drain upon this road so as to do away with ore tliat is situated upon his !-™d. The Hoard did not object, nrovided the adjoining settlers are satisfied, and Mr Tyler does the work at his own expense. Vpse! Street, Cambridge. The portion of this street from the show ground to the lxirough boundary on the back Hautapu road, was reported to be in a very bad state, and it was resolved to ask the Borough Council to repair it. Gravel Pits. Complaints were received that the stripping from the Broadmeadows' pit had been put in a low place on the side of the road, and that tw> ctnm™ had been taken from Mr Peake's pit and left against the fence on the other side of the road.—Both matters will receive attention.
